‘This is what it means’: SA boy’s uncontainable anxiety during Springboks game [watch]

SA were on the edge of their seats, including a young boy whose nerves shot through the roof during the Springboks’ match last night.

A young South African boy, who could not contain his nerves during the nail-biting Rugby World Cup semi-final encounter between the Springboks and England, fully reflects the chest pains Mzansi was grappling with for over 60 minutes.

MOTHER HELPS SON KEEP CALM DURING SPRINGBOKS MATCH

The defending champions clinched a narrow one-point win by 15-16 at the Stade de France. However, it was not easy.

For most of the match, England looked liked the side to advance to the final as they stamped their authority in the early stages of the match. The English had 12-6 lead at half time, only to be cruelly denied a spot in the final against New Zealand when Springboks lock RG Snyman scored a try with just 11 minutes remaining. This was followed by a last-gasp penalty from Handre Pollard to seal an incredible comeback victory for the Boks.

A video showing a boy being consoled by his mother during the Springboks match has gone viral.

The young man, who is clad in Springbok regilia, is seen struggling to breathe because of the scoreline. Luckily, his loving mother is by his side to give him water to drink to calm his nerves.

“The Springboks are not only gonna kill us they gonna kill our children 😭😭the “yoh” took me out,” read the video caption.

SA REACTS

The video of the boy has warmed the hearts of South African and also left them in stitches as they relate.

“This is beautiful. The passion from this youngster. Knowing what it means. Uncontrollable love for his team and country” said 947 presenter Mo Flava.

“I knew that I’m too weak when I left and went to bed 😂😂my heart couldn’t take it,” said an X user.

“Nna I personally understand him, my heart shifted for some few minutes there,” another wrote.
