R64 million Powerball winner: ‘I used the same numbers for three draws’

The South African woman who recently won R64 million on Tuesday’s Powerball draw says she used the same numbers.

The woman who was one of the R128 million Powerball jackpot winners has claimed her R64 million from the Tuesday, 17 October draw.

ONE OF THE R64 MILLION WINNER’S CLAIMS PRIZE

The South African woman who used the ABSA banking app to play the Powerball reveals that she used the same numbers before winning R64 million this week.

“The winning streak hit a crescendo when she used the same numbers for three consecutive draws”.

“On the third attempt, destiny smiled upon her, transforming her into a multi-millionaire overnight,” added Ithuba in a statement.

The winner also told ITHUBA that she’s still coming to terms with the reality of this win. It’s beyond her wildest dreams.

She tells fellow lottery enthusiasts, to not stop believing it can happen! The woman plans on buying herself a house and that the most she had previously won in the Powerball was R800.

She will also donate to five charities that are close to her heart, and also plans on investing a substantial portion of her winnings.

ITHUBA CONGRATULATES WINNER

Ithuba CEO Charmaine Mabuza said: “We are over the moon to witness dreams being realised through the National Lottery. This win is a testament to the hopes and dreams we seek to fulfil for our loyal players.”

Ithuba confirmed this week that the winners will each walk away with an astonishing R64,460,746.18 each after winning the R128 million Powerball jackpot.

The second winner who purchased from the FNB platform hasn’t claimed their prize yet.

Mabuza has also expressed her delight at this momentous occasion: “We are overjoyed to have not one but two winners of the PowerBall Jackpot in Draw 1450. This is a significant milestone for us, and we are immensely proud to have played a role in making these dreams come true. “

All winners over R50,000 receive free financial and trauma counselling. All winnings are tax-free. Players must be 18 years and older.
