Patron spends nearly R7000 at Durban restaurant, tips waiter

A patron shared his bill of over R6000 on social media and revealed that the waiter was tipped over R600 in December 2023.

PATRON: ‘BILL SETTLED’

The social media user @mutavhatsindi revealed on Facebook that he spent nearly R7000 on alcohol and food at Max’s Lifestyle restaurant in Durban during the festive season.

Though the bill shows he spent R6068 on food and drinks at the Durban restaurant, the social media user revealed he paid a total of R6975.

“The bill was settled, and the waiter got his share,” said the patron on social media.

Ntaoleng Selepe replied: “I will never pay so much on booze . I would be fainted by now.”

Kereemang Maseloane said: “Ekare nkabe kele waiter (I wish I was the waiter), I am so broke can’t even pay attention .”
