Over the years, pizza has gone through many changes as people experiment with making the delicious dish even more interesting. Ingredients such as pineapple, pilchards, and artichokes have all been tried and tested and received mixed reactions from picky eaters who have now shared their thoughts on eating pizza made with black cheese – you read right, black cheese.

A restaurant in India recently headed online to debut the arguably weird pizza which they say has been made with all-natural ingredients.

Black cheese pizza: Try or pass?

Another weird and wonderful food dish has hit the market in India and netizens are not sure what to make of it.

In a video shared by Instagram food blogger, @thebeardedfoodie, a woman can be seen having a slice of the blackened pizza.

As she lifts it, some black sauce drips down making the meal appear stranger than ever. She then takes a big bite and truly appears to enjoy the weird and wonderful pizza.

In the caption of the post, the poster explains that the pizza is being sold by an eatery called Pizza By Engineers in Mumbai India.

Unfortunately, the pizza doesn’t appear to be a big hit amongst social media users who wondered how they blackened it.

Some people commented that it looks like dirty water while others appeared to be ready to give it a try.

@rajeshmanoharan04 doesn’t seem keen on trying it and wrote:

“Looks like drainage water dripping.”

@harrispereira wondered how they got it black and also hoped that it wasn’t chocolate:

“Why is it black? I hope it’s not chocolate????”
