According to the South African Weather Service (SAWS), a rainy evening has been predicted for parts of Kwazulu-Natal – and the partially-coastal province has been affected by rain and thunderstorms for several months.

Reports say that rain and storms might continue for tonight (10 January, 2024), and rain has already started to spread through parts of the province – including Durban North and Durban West.

The South African Weather Service (SAWS) have predicted a rainy evening for parts of Kwazulu-Natal, including Durban North and parts of Western Durban.

Residents and visitors can expect mild storms in some parts, though might also see more serious thunderstorms with the potential for floods.
