‘Scandal!’: Siyabonga Ngcwensa plays Phakamile’s brother, Mbuso
Talented actor Siyabonga Ngcwensa has joined e.tv’s popular soapie ‘Scandal!’ as Phakamile’s brother Mbuso.

Entertainment blogger Mlu @TVBlogsByMlu revealed on Twitter that actor Siyabonga Ngcwensa has joined as Mbuso, who’s Phakamile’s brother.

ACTOR SIYABONGA NGCWENSA: ROLE
The rising star Siyabonga Ngcwensa made his debut on Scandal! on Wednesday, 26 July when his character Mbuso got released from prison.
Ngcwensa’s on-screen sister Phakamile is played by former Durban Gen actress Lerato Nxumalo. The pair have a younger sister Nqobile (played by Zekhatho Zondi).
According to the storyline, Mbuso has been stealing from local shops long before he showed up at his sister’s place and hasn’t changed his criminal lifestyle.
It is unclear if Mbuso will return to jail or how long the actor will stay with the e.tv soapie at the moment.

LERATO NXUMALO: ROLE AS PHAKAMILE IN ‘SCANDAL!’
Sunday World reported in April that actress Lerato Nxumalo plays the elder sister of Mbuso and Nqobile as Phakamile Mdletshe in Scandal!.
The soapie announced Nxumalo’s arrival on social media:” Allow me to officially welcome Phakamile played by the talented Lerato Nxumalo to the #etvscandal family. Phakamile joins the cast as Nqobile’s complicated older sister. Let’s give her a warm welcome!”
Nxumalo also revealed her latest role on her social media account: “Happy to announce that tonight I make my debut on @officialetvscandal as Phakamile Mdletshe. She’s fiery, she’s strong, and will stop at nothing to provide for her siblings.”
The former Durban Gen star debuted in e.tv’s soapie on Monday, 17 April as Jojo’s love interest and employee, Phakamile.
Nxumalo’s charcter is in a relationship with former Isibaya actor Melusi Mbele’s character, Jojo Khubeka
