Popular actress Gugu Gumede has returned to her role as Mamlambo in Uzalo after giving birth to her baby girl six months ago.
The mother of one took to her Instagram account yesterday (31 June) to confirm her return to the popular soapie.

GUGU GUMEDE RETURNS AS MAMLAMBO
Viewers of Uzalo are thrilled that their favourite actress Gugu Gumede has reprised her role on the soapie after giving birth six months ago.
“My maternity leave is officially over tomorrow. Excited to be back with my @Uzalo_sabc1 fam.”
The actress plays a prophetess who assists KwaMashu residents with their problems and helps her friend.
Gumede also said she’s scared to leave her daughter behind while on set and asked her followers and industry friends to offer tips.
“Mommies, what made this transition easier for you? Please send some words of encouragement,” she asked.

UZALO VIEWERS AND FANS REACT TO HER POST
Reality TV star and her friend Laconco advised her:
“Prayer helped me, still does and will always. Dont overthink it. Remember she’s a precious gift from God. It’s never easy, but mommy has to do what she’s got to do.”

A fan of the actress Nenemlungisi responded:
“My wife’s 4-month maternity leave ends today. It’s been an emotional day for her. We thank God she works 2 days from home and 3 days in the office.”
