Tamia’s South African tour: Another show added in Pretoria

Canadian-born singer Tamia will be performing for one more show in her South African tour kicking off in Cape Town on 4 July.

Another show has been added to Canadian-born R&B singer Tamia Marilyn Washington Hill’s returning to South African tour.

ADDITIONAL SHOW ADDED TO TAMIA’S SOUTH AFRICAN TOUR

After Tamia’s Pretoria concert sold out earlier this week, local promoters G21 Live and Vertex Events confirmed an additional show for Sunday 9 July at the SunBet Arena in Pretoria.

The South African tour is set to kick off in Cape Town at the Grand Arena, GrandWest in July. Followed by Durban at the Durban ICC and then Pretoria, the three city tour will now end a day later in the capital city.

“Due to a huge public outcry following our sold out announcement on social media yesterday, we decided, if possible, to extend the tour in Gauteng. The venue was available and post discussions with Tamia and her management team late last night, her availability for an extra show was confirmed.  She also expressed much excitement and delight in staying slightly longer in South Africa. It’s official, the extra show is confirmed,” said Vertex Entertainment’s  Thato Segaole according to a press release.

TAMIA RETURNS TO SOUTH AFRICA ON TOUR

G Twenty One Live together with Vertex Events announced that the multi-Grammy-nominated international artist Tamia will be touring South Africa in July. Tamia will tour three cities in SA. This is Tamia’s fourth time coming to Mzansi over the past decade.

The Canadian born R&B singer and songwriter released multiple albums and collaborated with several international musical icons. She is well known for her philanthropic work within the music industry over the span of her career. 

Ticket prices range from R390 to R1490. The Tamia South African tour will be powered by media partners Kaya FM and Kfm 94.5.

THREE CITY TOUR DATES ANNOUNCED

  • 4 July – Grand Arena, Grand West – Cape Town, Western Cape
  • 7 July Durban ICC – Durban, KwaZulu-Natal
  • 8 July Sunbet Arena, Time Square – Pretoria, Gauteng
