‘Yoh! Christmas’ star Katlego Lebogang wanted to act from nine
Actress Katlego Lebogang who stars in ‘Spinners’ and ‘Yoh! Christmas’ says she’s been wanting to be an actress since she was nine years.

The Spinners and Yoh! Christmas actress Katlego Lebogang reveals the importance of breaking stereotypes in a male-dominated world.

KATLEGO LEBOGANG: ‘I’M LIVING MY NINE-YEAR-OLD DREAM’
Lebogang also opens up about her Spinners role to Sunday World and adds she’s been wanting to be an actress from the age of nine years.
“From the age of nine, I was like, ‘I just want to be an actor.’ So I’m living out my little nine-year-old dream.”
She adds that her Spinners character is a powerful character who wasn’t stripped off her femineity.
“She’s very strong and it could have made her hard, but they didn’t strip her of her femininity and her maternal energy.”
Lebogang also reveals that she is worlds apart from her character, Phumeza who takes her out of her comfort zone.

STARRING IN ‘YOH! CHRISTMAS’
The rising star Katlego Lebogang, who recently scored the roles of Phumeza in Spinners will also star as Thando in Netflix’s Yoh! Christmas
Her character Thando seems to have it all except for love. Unfortunately, her perpetual singledom is a constant reminder for her family and society.
Kaya 959 reports that she will star alongside actors such as Sthandiwe Kgoroge, Hlomla Dandala, Lerato Mvelase, Dorothy-Ann Gould, Tiffany Barbuzano, and Sello Motloung.
Other talents include, Siya Sepotekele, Siv Ngesi, Altovise Lawrence, Ntobeko Sishii, Didie Makhubane, and many others. The Netflix rom-com will debut on 15 December.
