‘SIYABONGA’: Nomzamo Mbatha grateful for support after ‘Shaka iLembe’ premier

South African actress and TV personality Nomzamo Mbatha has expressed her gratitude for all the love they have received from viewers following the premiere of the new Mzansi Magic hit series Shaka iLembe.

The show premiered on June 18, 2023, and has created quite a buzz on social media platforms with impressive ratings.

Taking to Twitter, the TV star thanked all the viewers for the love Shaka iLembe has received since its first episode aired on Mzansi Magic.

“SIYABONGA The love for episode one of #ShakaiLembeMzansi has been overwhelmingly beautiful. I know I may give the elusion of confidence without the fragments of self-doubt, but this has been a brave and hard journey. We won’t celebrate just yet… 1 down… 11 to go,” wrote Nomzamo.

Nomzamo, who portrays the character of ‘Queen Nandi’, has been acclaimed for killing her role on the show. The backlash surrounding a scene where she exposed her breasts, which has been trending online, has not stopped viewers from praising her acting skills.

Fans flooded her comment section with heartening comments, lauding her performance and acknowledging her efforts as an executive producer on the show.

In other news, the actress has revealed to her fans how challenging the process has been. “I know I may give the elusion (illusion) of confidence without the fragments of self-doubt, but this has been a brave and hard journey,” she said.
