Is actress Kwezi Myeza’s character, Nomalanga in Sibongile and The Dlaminis expecting a baby?

The TVSA Sibongile and Dlaminis April teasers reveal that Nomalanga may be carrying Kwenzo’s (Vuyo Biyela) baby.

Monday, 29 April: “Tension brews as Kwenzo questions Nomalanga’s condition.”


Tuesday, 30 April: “When asked hard questions about his intentions with Nomalanga, Kwenzo gets tongue-tied.”

Nomalanga was previously dumped at the altar by Kwenzo when he chose Sibongile over her and she moved out.

Sibongile (Luyanda Zwane) and Kwenzo recenty drifted apart when her father found out about their vat and sat situation.

She went back home to live with her parents, pushed Kwenzo away, who rekindled his relationship with his former fiancée.

It is unclear from the teasers if Nomalanga is really pregnant or trying to ruin his relationship with Sibongile as before.

The telenovela stars actors Ayanda Borotho (née Ngubane), Siyabonga Shibe, Luyanda Zwane and The River’s Vuyo Biyela. The show premiered on 31 July 2023 on Mzansi Wethu (DStv channel 163).

WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT ‘SIBONGILE AND THE DLAMINIS’

 Sibongile and The Dlaminis is the most-watched telenovela on Mzansi Wethu and is the second most-watched TV show on DStv.

The Broadcasting Research Council of South Africa (BRCSA) February 2024 figures reveal that the show secured 819 284 viewers.

It also stars actors Ayanda Borotho and Siyabonga Shibe, who play husband and wife in the telenovela.

Kaya 959 reports that actress Luyanda Zwane’s character Sibongile Mbambo, will have a surprising Cinderella-like tale awaiting her, and forbidden romance, when she joins The Dlaminis.

The show is set in the small town of Ixopo in KwaZulu-Natal and promises to explore timeless themes of love, sacrifice, ambition, and familial bonds.

Viewers can expect a hopeful, warm, authentic, and a real-world fairy tale, delivers superb entertainment.

The show also draws inspiration from the Zambian tale of Zuba and the Solalas and also stars Zodumo Shange, former The River star Vuyo Biyela and many more
