Actresses Mbali Ngiba and Pinky Ntshangase are reportedly leaving Mzansi Magic’s ‘Umkhokha: The Curse’ season two.

Actresses Mbali Ngiba and Pinky Ntshangase, who play the roles of Zodwa and MaZungu respectively are reportedly Umkhokha: The Curse season two.

MBALI NGIBA: DEPARTURE

Entertainment commentator, Jabu Mcdonald reports that reality TV star and actress Mbali Ngiba, who portrays Zodwa has exited Umkhokha: The Curse.

Ngiba is leaving the show with co-star Pinky Ntshangase, who plays MaZungu in the popular telenovela.

Ntshangase’s character was married to musician and actor Mbuso Khoza’s character, Babu Maphalala.

The South African contacted Ms Ngiba regarding her departure, who was not available for a comment.

‘UMKHOKHA: THE CURSE’ SEASON TWO

TVSA reports that Umkhokha: The Curse season two began on Monday, 4 March and will end in February 2025.

The publication adds that season two premiere shows its wrath on Mabusi (Hope Mbhele) while Siphamandla (Nay Maps) is away.

MaMzobe’s (Deli Malinga’s) dark past comes back to haunt her and MaNzimande will give Siphamandla a devastating call.

Briefly reports that the Mzobes and the Gumedes will embark on a journey of trying to get rid of the curse. They are unaware that the Mzobe ancestral bag is the reason why the curse will continue to take their loved ones.

“Zodwa is given the task of finding the ancestral bag not knowing that Thenjiwe is hiding it from everyone, but will she find out the truth?”

“Another family member dies, the Gumedes and Mthembus are forced to mourn another death and on the other side Sphamandla is forced to marry another wife by the church.”

The show is created by Mandla KaNozulu and produced by Rhythm World Productions by executive producer Duma Ndlovu.
