M-Net introduces new channels ‘Cine Magic’ and ‘Magic Showcase’

M-Net will launch two new shows ‘Magic Showcase’ and ‘Cine Magic’ for the DStv EasyView customers in South Africa.

M-Net is about to launch two brand new channels Magic Showcase and Cine Magic for their DStv EasyView customers in South Africa.

EASYVIEW: TWO NEW CHANNELS  

Kaya 959 reports that M-Net will introduce Magic Showcase and Cine Magic to its DStv EasyView clients from Monday 31 October.  

The publication adds that the best locally produced shows, specials, and documentaries from MultiChoice will be featured on Magic Showcase which will be an 18-hour channel that debuts on Monday 31 October exclusively to its DStv EasyView members.  

On Magic ShowCase, clients can expect shows from all genres and an artistic blending of drama, lifestyle, and reality.  

M-Net’s CEO: General Entertainment Nomsa Philiso revealed in a statement:

“As MultiChoice Group, we are committed to giving our subscribers on varying packages the best content there is to offer. We are proud to grow the EasyView content slate, allowing our subscribers on this package to enjoy award-winning and top-tier local shows and movies from across the continent. It’s all about giving our audience the best value for their money, and we are committed to continuously increasing what each DStv package has on show.”

M-NET INTRODUCES SECOND CHANNEL: ‘CINE MAGIC’  

According to Kaya 959, the second channel CineMagic will be a 24-hour movie channel that will only be available for the DStv EasyView clients in South Africa and the DStv Access and Lite packages in the SADC areas.   

Novela Magic will cease operations in South Africa on 27 November to create room for the new channels but will continue operations in the rest of Africa.  

DStv customers will only have access to Cinemagic from Monday, 14 November.
