Lemogang Tsipa ‘has been preparing’ for ‘Killer Front Page’ role

‘Shaka Ilembe’ actor Lemogang Tsipa will portray the role of a journalist, Sol Mojalefa, in the upcoming series ‘Killer Front Page’.

Actor Lemogang Tsipa, who played Shaka Zulu in Shaka iLembe, will portray a journalist, Sol Mojalefa Phiri, in Mzansi Magic’s drama series Killer Front Page.

LEMOGANG TSIPA AS SOL MOJALEFA

The fan-favourite actor Lemogang Tsipa revealed to Sunday World this week that his friendship with a journalist prepared him for his latest role in Killer Front Page.

“I have been preparing for the role unknowingly. And [my friend] does have a lot of similar character traits similar to Sol the character that I am playing. There are similarities in the positive aspects. There are a lot of dark sides of Sol, which we will discover.”

The Shaka Ilembe actor also reveals that his opinions on journalists have not changed as he’s always liked them and believes they play a necessary role in society.

The series will also star former 7de Laan and Isidingo actress Linda Sokhulu, who will portray a detective, Sis Connie, and Gomora star Siphesihle Ndaba

BACKGROUND: ‘KILLER FRONT PAGE’

Mzansi Magic confirms that the drama series Killer Front Page will also feature actors Emmanuel Gweva, Chumani Pan, etc.

Killer Front Page is Mzansi Magic’s suspenseful new show that challenges ambition, ethics, and cold-blooded murder; produced by Barkers Media, which produced 1Magic’s popular drama How to Manifest a Man.

Shirley Adonisi, who is the director of Local Entertainment Channels, reveals in a statement: “With this series, we are delving into new spaces as far as productions are concerned, with the aim of not only entertaining but also setting trends. We hope that this will bring some more drama and intrigue to our Sunday night line-up and will be appreciated by our Mzansi audiences.”
