‘Isitha: The Enemy’ confirms Zamani Mbatha’s departure
‘Isitha: The Enemy’ has confirmed popular actor Zamani Mbatha, who plays Khaya has exited the telenovela.

Talented actor Zamani Mbatha, who joined e.tv’s Isitha: The Enemy earlier this year as Khaya has left the show.

ZAMANI MBATHA FIRED?
A source from Isitha: The Enemy tells Zimoja that the popular actor Zamani Mbatha was let go after he demanded more money from production, but the issues reportedly never got resolved.
Mpumelelo Nhlapo, Executive Director at Black Brain Pictures revealed in a statement: “We wish Zamani the best of luck in his future endeavours and viewers will still be able to enjoy his performances until mid-2024.”
Entertainment commentator Phil Mphela also announced that talented actor Zamani Mbatha has been let go by popular telenovela Isitha: The Enemy.
“Zamani Mbatha fired from Isitha-TheEnemy. Mbatha plays the lead character of Khaya on the etv telenovela. No word on whether the role on the hit show will be recast,” said Mphela.
The South African reached out to Mr Mbatha who was not available for a comment at the time of publishing this article.
