Will actor Sello Maake KaNcube be leaving ‘Champions’ after his character, Washington Modise got diagnosed with cancer this week?

Champions fans took to social media this week to react to Sello Maake KaNcube’s character, Washington Modise.

SELLO MAAKE KANCUBE AS WASHINGTON MODISE

In the storyline, the former Generations actor Sello Maake KaNcube’s character Washington Modise revealed he’s got cancer.

Which got viewers questioning the longevity of Maake KaNcube’s former player-turned-entrepreneur character.

His daughter Sne Modise, played by The Estate actress Jo-anne Reyneke was also heartbroken as she adores her father.

Will his brother, Philemon Modise played by Tumisho Masha take over Sne’s job if his brother dies?

Sne who is a symbol of resilience and ambition in a male-dominated soccer empire is the current general manager of the club.

While her uncle feels the world has yet to acknowledge his true worth and his narrative is one of greed, and sibling rivalry.

Champions premiered on DStv Mzansi Magic (channel 161) from Monday, 5 February at 7pm (Mondays to Fridays).
