1. THE DUKE STRUGGLED TO FEEL EMOTION AFTER PRINCESS DIANA’S DEATH

On the fourth episode of the series, Prince Harry revealed that he struggled to feel emotion after the death of his mother – Princess Diana, who died in a car crash. He made the comment in a one-on-one conversational with Darrell Ling, who competed in the Invictus Games in the indoor rowing category for Canada.

Harry talked about how he had been affected by the “trauma” of losing his mother, saying: “I had no emotion, I was unable to cry, I was unable to feel. I didn’t know it at the time.

“And it wasn’t until later in my life aged 28 there was a circumstance that happened that the first few bubbles started coming out and then suddenly it was like someone shook and it went ‘poof’.. and then it was chaos.”

3. PRINCE HARRY TAKES ANOTHER JAB AT ROYAL FAMILY?

Heart of Invictus, Prince Harry’s Netflix series launched today – Wednesday 30 August. The Duke of Sussex is at the forefront of the series along with injured veterans.

Prince Harry’s wife Meghan Markle made a brief appearance in the series. The Duke of Sussex explained it was only when he returned from war that he became aware of trauma he still had from Diana dying in Paris in 1997 when he was 12 years old. He seemingly took another dig at the royal family when he claimed that he had no support when he returned from Afghanistan.

“Biggest struggle for me was no one around me really could help. I didn’t have that support structure, that network or that expert advice to identify what was actually going on with me,” he said.

“Unfortunately, like most of us, the first time you consider therapy is when you are lying on the floor in the foetal position probably wishing you had dealt with some of this stuff previously. And that’s what I really want to change,” he continued.
