Babes Wodumo’s motherhood obligations messing with paycheque

Certified Gqom Queen Bongekile “Babes Wodumo” Simelane has apparently failed to put on a fire performance to make a comeback into the music scene.

Daily Sun reports that Babes Wodumo was scheduled to perform at Dladla Mshunqisi’s event Usuku Lomshunqo show at Wiseman Car Wash in KwaMashu, Durban but she allegedly left the stage without completing a single song.

BABES WODUMO FAILS TO PERFORM

According to the publication, the mother of one was billed to be the headliner at the event but the people who attended the event said that the star was not just off tune but she couldn’t even get some of her signature moves right.

Babes is said to have left shortly thereafter without finishing the first song.

Daily Sun spoke to Babes’ manager who is also her sister Nondumiso Simelane who said that Babes has been exhausted because of her duties as a mother amongst other things.

“Babes is working hard and being a mother for the first time is not easy for her. She’s perfectly fine. On that day, she had worked hard and was extremely tired during her performance…other than that, there’s nothing wrong with her,” Nondumiso told the publication.

‘MAMPINTSHA STOLE MY MONEY’ – SHE SAYS

In November, the dancer revealed on her Showmax reality show Uthando Lodumo that her husband and father of her child has been stealing her royalties.

She claimed that Mampintsha signed her to a company that she doesn’t know and added that he has been benefiting off her royalties.

“…when we approach some of those companies he signed with that I don’t know, then will then show us proof of payments made to him instead. I have never seen a cent from those money paid to him,” she revealed.
