‘America’s Got Talent’ S18 back on M-Net with an amazing SA group

Another South African youth choir brought Simon Cowell to tears on ‘America’s Got Talent’ season 18 available on M-Net.

The world’s biggest talent competition, America’s Got Talent (AT), is back for its 18th season on M-Net DStv channel 101.

The show premiered on Friday 21 July at 17:00 and South African acts are shining more brightly than ever.

Viewers will remember the superb Ndlovu Youth Choir that wowed audiences in season 14 of the show as well as the America’s Got Talent: All-Stars.

MZANSI YOUTH CHOIR BRINGS SIMON TO TEARS

This season another South African choir is competing – and they’re just as breathtaking! Called the Mzansi Youth Choir, this group of young singers hailing from Soweto brought judge Simon Cowell to tears with their audition. Without giving too much more away, judge Sofia Vergara dubbed it “the perfect AGT audition” and it led to a historic moment for the competition.

OTHER GREAT ACTS ON ‘AMERICA’ S GOT TALENT’

Other outstanding acts viewers won’t want to miss on AGT include 17-year-old Indonesian pianist and singer Putri Ariani, talented young drummers Chioma & The Atlanta Drum Academy and French dance group Murmuration.

Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, Sofia Vergara, and Simon Cowell are back as judges, with Terry Crews hosting.
