Standard fare on the 2024 Ford Ranger Platinum is a host of trend-setting features found in the Wildtrak and Ranger Raptor. These include:

Under the bonnet, the 2024 Ford Ranger Platinum features the silky smooth 3.0-litre V6 turbodiesel engine. The same as you’ll find in the Wildtrak, it delivers a seamless 184 kW and 600 Nm of torque. It is mated to Ford’s excellent 10-speed automatic transmission. The 2024 Ford Ranger Platinum, the latest addition to South Africa’s elite R1-million bakkie club, retails for R1 119 000.
