If you’re looking to get out and about this weekend in Durban, here are a few fun events taking place in the city from 1-3 December.

Carols & Kilts 2023 

What: The annual production of Carols & Kilts will be taking place at the Shongweni Farmer’s Market this weekend and it promises to be the perfect blend of highland music and Christmas carols.

You can look forward to medley of well-known Christmas carols arranged for the highland bagpipe and much, much more. There will also be a range of food and beverages available for purchase at the market in case you get hungry. Tickets cost R100 per adult and R50 per child. Book here.

When: Saturday, 2 December, from 15:00 to 17:00

Tributes Fest 2023 at Westville Warehouse, Durban

What: South Africa’s biggest Tribute Festival is on this weekend and it’s expected to be bigger than ever. You can catch the six amazing tribute bands who will pay tribute to Limp Bizkit, System of a Down, Green Day ,Beastie Boys, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, and Tenacious D. Tickets cost R130 per person and can be booked here.

Cocktails and Canvas Christmas edition

What: With all things Christmas coming at us hard and fast, The Breakfast Room will be hosting a festive Cocktails and Canvas Christmas edition this weekend in Durban. You can expect food, drinks, art, and a safe space to let out your inner Picasso. Tickets cost R250 per person and includes a welcome drink and art supplies. Book here.
