Subaru Southern Africa has launched the sixth generation Subaru Outback – their most technologically advanced and safest model to date.

Positioned as the next step in the evolution of the SUV wagon, Subaru’s 2021 Outback – the ‘safest and most capable ever’ – will be available in two derivatives at Subaru dealerships in Southern Africa from 1 May 2021.

Equipped with larger, all-new 2.5l engines – over the 2.0l engines which power its Forester siblings – Subaru has launched a new and even more sportier assault on SA’s competitive SUV market with the introduction of the 2.5i Sport ES CVT and the 2,5i-S ES CVT.

Of the 49 car brands in South Africa, affected vehicles of 10 are being recalled:
Toyota, Nissan, Volkswagen, Ford, Honda, BMW, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Subaru and UD Trucks.

Set to be launched locally in March, Subaru Southern Africa will introduce the MY2021 Subaru Forester with more power, as well as more tech and safety features.
