Despite the EU lifting its entry ban on nationals from southern Africa, several countries in the bloc still ban entry to SA nationals.
As from Tuesday 4 January, South Africans are once again able to enter Germany without the need to undergo quarantine requirements.
After commencing its phased reopening to international travellers in July, the resumption of scheduled flights between Mauritius and South Africa has been announced.
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has banned entry to South Africans until 15 July and there’s no guessing as to when the ban might be lifted.
South African nationals are prohibited from entering Turkey, though Turkish Airlines will continue to operate scheduled flights to South Africa.
