World Cup 2022 fans were treated to three games on Monday and there’s now four in store on Tuesday.

World Cup 2022 schedule: Tuesday 22 November

  • Argentina vs Saudi Arabia – 12:00
  • Denmark vs Tunisia – 15:00
  • Mexico vs Poland – 18:00
  • France vs Australia – 21:00

One of the pre-tournament favourites, Argentina, get their campaign underway against Saudi Arabia at midday. Denmark, ranked 10th in the world by FIFA, will fancy their chances against African hopefuls Tunisia. Mexico vs Poland looks like an evenly-contested battle at 15:00 and then defending champions France take the stage against outsiders Australia.

Here’s a quick recap of yesterday’s results from Qatar.

  • England 6-2 Iran
  • Senegal 0-2 The Netherlands
  • USA 1-1 Wales

Gareth Southgate’s England trounced Iran with five different players getting themselves on the score sheet. Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka bagged a brace. Senegal put up stern resistance before two late goals ensured that the Dutch got their campaign off to a winning start. The USA opened the scoring through Timothy Weah but were pegged back by USA-based Welsh wizard Gareth Bale.
