Orlando Pirates have formally been charged for denying TS Galaxy owner Tim Sukazi entry at Orlando Stadium towards the end of 2021.

Sukazi claimed he had an ‘all-access’ accreditation, and as per the video shared by Galaxy, the club boss was seen showing the police and security stewards the accreditation.

The former football agent said he even called Pirates chairman Dr Irvin Khoza as the incident was unfolding but he was still denied access.

Now, PSL prosecutor advocate Zola Majavu continues to crack the whip, and he has hauled Pirates before the league’s Disciplinary Committee.

In a statement released on Thursday, Majavu confirmed that the matter involving Pirates and Sukazi will be heard on 26 January at 14:00.

“Orlando Pirates Football Club was charged yesterday and the matter has been enrolled for hearing at 14h00, next week 26 January,” said Majavu in the statement.

“This was in relation to the misconduct arising from the chairman of TS Galaxy being denied entry into the stadium. The charges relate to the incident – that case will proceed next week Wednesday.”

“When it is finalised, I will come back and provide a further update of the outcome on the DC hearing.”
