Mamelodi Sundowns fans will be shocked to know none of their favourites will be in action for Bafana at the COSAFA Cup.

Bafana return to action this evening for the first time since their 2-1 loss against Morocco last month.

Hugo Broos’ side went down in their opening AFCON Qualifier against a formidable Moroccan side.

This time around, a young looking South African national side under the guidance of Helman Mkhalele, will be looking to book their place in the COSAFA Cup Semi-finals.

Despite winning an incredible domestic treble, Mamelodi Sundowns have NO players in the current Bafana squad.

Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates on the other hand have just one and two players respectively.

Both Soweto giants will be keeping a close eye on Helman Mkhalele’s starting lineup to see if Keletso Sifama, Azola Matrose and Boitumelo Radiopane make the cut.

Radiopane was recently loaned out to Cape Town Spurs by the Buccaneers. Matrose was signed by the Buccaneers ahead of next season from Chippa United.

The match can also be live streamed on TelkomOne. Unfortunately neither SuperSport or SABC Sport will be televising the clash on DStv.
