MAMELODI SUNDOWNS: PETER SHALULILE’S HARD WORK

Speaking to the media in recent days, Shalulile’s teammate, Onyango, revealed how sharing a room with the Namibian is an extension of training.

“If you share a room with this guy [Peter Shalulile], you won’t rest until at least 11 pm. It’s always working in the room,” Onyango said, as quoted by FARPost.

THE NEW FACES AT CHLOORKOP

As expected, Sundowns have further beefed for next season, and that is bad news for the Soweto rivals. Let’s look at the four new signings at Kabo Yellow.

As The South African website reported in the past month, Sundowns are four quality players stronger. The new faces include a midfielder, a winger, and two attackers.

THE LIST SO FAR:

  1. Lesiba Nku, 27, defender/midfielder
  2. Junior Mendieta, 30, central attacking midfielder
  3. Lucas Ribeiro Costa, 23, attacking midfielder/forward
  4. Thapelo Maseko, 19, winger.

Meanwhile, Sundowns will kick off the 2023/24 season away to Sekhukhune United on Friday, 4 August.
