Despite the Mamelodi Sundowns CAF Champions League setback, coach Rhulani Mokwena remains proud of his team’s efforts and progress this season.

Mokwena’s support for his players

Sundowns coach Mokwena expressed his unwavering support for his players, acknowledging their status as the best in Africa.

He shouldered the blame for the defeat and emphasised his confidence in the team’s ability to bounce back.

“I love my players. They have already proved that they are the best in the African continent and when they lose, we lose together and the responsibility also lies on the shoulders of the coach.
