Tinkler confirms City star to Chiefs?

Well, well, it seems Mduduzi Mdantsane is certainly going to Kaizer Chiefs. Check out this big hint from Eric Tinkler.

Speaking to the media after last weekend’s 1-0 win over Amakhosi at FNB, Cape Town City coach Tinkler said the Citizens will be parting ways with a few players.

In addition to a few departing players, Tinkler added that City will make an announcement on Mdantantse soon enough. The comment follows ubiquitous reports of Mdantsane having completed a move to Amakhosi.

“There will be some players that will be leaving us but those decisions, believe it or not, they’ve all been made,” Tinkler said via SABC Sport.

“The one issue that we have and I tell agents, we got too many foreigners in our squad currently.

“We have seven foreign players and we have to make a decision on two of them because we can only keep five. So, there will be one or two changes in terms of the foreign spots.

“We will obviously announce that when it’s the right time. With regards to Mdantsane again that announcement will be made at the right time,” the former Orlando Pirates coach concluded.

In other news, Chiefs have to organise a new parking lot at Naturena. Thatayaone Ditlhokwe is coming to start his career as a Glamour Boy.

As The South African previously reported in recent months, Amakhosi scooped the Botswana international on a pre-contract. The 24-year-old will join the Soweto giants after 87 appearances in the Premier Soccer League with Matsatsantsa a Pitori.

“So I don’t think there’s pressure that can come more than what I already passed through.

“It’s a normal challenge that every player goes through, and for you to grow, you must have challenges. You need to be tested. It’s a big test, I know, but at the end of the day. I will manage the way I always have.

“As a player from Botswana, my ambition was to come and play in South Africa, then do my level best and come out of South Africa, do my best in each and every game, and then leave South Africa; that’s my aim,” he added.
