Reports: Striker turns down Pirates for Chiefs

This should leave most Kaizer Chiefs fans feeling warm today. Ranga Chivaviro has reportedly turned down Orlando Pirates for Amakhosi.

Is this the best moment for Kaizer Chiefs in this transfer window so far? Ranga Chivaviro has reportedly said no to Orlando Pirates in favour of a move to Naturena.

KAIZER CHIEFS BEAT ORLANDO PIRATES TO RANGA CHIVAVIRO?

Having enjoyed a smashing season of 17 goals in 30 games for Marumo Gallants last season, the 30-year-old from Limpopo’s Ga-Kgapane became a wanted man.

According to reports by Soccer Laduma, as shared by @SirTshemedi via Twitter, Chivaviro has chosen black & gold over black and white.

NEW AMAKHOSI DEFENDER CONFIRMS MOVE TO NATURENA

In other news, Chiefs have to organise a new parking lot at Naturena. Thatayaone Ditlhokwe is coming to start his career as a Glamour Boy.

As The South African previously reported in recent months, Amakhosi scooped the Botswana international on a pre-contract. The 24-year-old will join the Soweto giants after 87 appearances in the Premier Soccer League with Matsatsantsa a Pitori.

“So I don’t think there’s pressure that can come more than what I already passed through.

“It’s a normal challenge that every player goes through, and for you to grow, you must have challenges. You need to be tested. It’s a big test, I know, but at the end of the day. I will manage the way I always have.

“As a player from Botswana, my ambition was to come and play in South Africa, then do my level best and come out of South Africa, do my best in each and every game, and then leave South Africa; that’s my aim,” he added.

Meanwhile, Amakhosi have also secured another central defender in Given Msimango.
