Pitso’s second big message to Chiefs?

Pitso Mosimane has confirmed the importance of his supporting staff. Is it a message to Kaizer Chiefs as Amakhosi search for a new coach?

Pitso Mosimane to Kaizer Chiefs is still a conversation. Is the Kagiso-born coach’s latest comments a message to Amakhosi?

Having left United Arab Emirates side Al-Wahda in the first week of November, the former Mamelodi Sundowns and Al Ahly boss has had some time to chat with local media.

As previously reported, Mosimane revealed his expectations as far as the next offers coming on his radar.

Asked about the importance of his team of assistant coach, fitness coach, performance analyst and goalkeeper coach, Mosimane simply said the team is unbreakable.

“We are like navy seals, like fire fighters – if a job comes we move,” Mosimane told the South African Union of Journalists.

“We are not in the space of working two hours and going home. We are monsters,” the former Bafana Bafana coach added.

Having turned down Nasreddine Nabi for wanting to join with his own assistants in June, is Mosimane to Chiefs a dead possibility? We shall find out soonish.

Meanwhile, Johnson is preparing his Chiefs side for a trip to Limpopo next week.

Amakhosi will visit Polokwane City on Saturday, 9 December, at the Peter Mokaba Stadium. Kick-off time will be 15:30.
