Breaking: Kaizer Chiefs get first option to sign Arrows attacker

PSL giants Kaizer Chiefs are now edging closer and closer towards signing Golden Arrows attacker Pule Mmodi.

Kaizer Chiefs are now moments away from signing Golden Arrows’ exciting attacking midfielder Pule Mmodi.

PULE MMODI TO COMPLETE KAIZER CHIEFS SWITCH?

Amakhosi have been chasing Mmodi for more than a minute now. As The South African website previously reported, the 29-year-old has an existing contract option with Arrows.

Golden Arrows have given Kaizer Chiefs the first option to sign Bafana Bafana’s flying winger Pule Mmodi, SABC Sport has learnt this weekend,” SABC Sport reported.

“The first club that we have been talking to about Mmodi is Kaizer Chiefs and they continue to have a first option on this deal. They have shown a serious interest from the word go and it’s only fair that, we give him the first option.

“We will only start considering other offers only when nothing comes out of these negotiations but for now, we will have keep it there,” the source added.

EIGHT SIGNINGS SO FAR

As far new completed signings, Arthur Zwane has Siyethemba Sithebe, Zitha Kwinika, Ashley Du Preez, Dillan Solomons, Kamohelo Mahlatsi, Lehlohonolo Matlou, Mduduzi Shabalala, and Yusuf Maart.

Meanwhile, Amakhosi are still expected to add a central midfielder or two, a winger, and a striker.

In addition to Mmodi, the club also remains linked with the likes of Rushwin Dortley from Cape Town Spurs, Terrence Mashego of Cape Town City, Given Msimango from TS Galaxy, Kobamelo Kodisang from Braga, Bongani Zungu (free agent), Fabrice Ngoma from Raja Casablanca, Valentino Yuel from Newcastle Jets, and Victor Letsoalo of Royal Eagles.
