“That boy from Kaizer Chiefs development has caught the eyes of Orlando Pirates, Sekhukhune United as well as scouts from Portugal during the Engine tournament.” a source told Citizen.

“From what I have heard, he was supposed to join Mamelodi Sundowns’ development earlier but could not make the move due to school and the distance.

“He is a complete player and it looks like he has a very bright future ahead of him in football. If he keeps working hard and does not get distracted by other things, he’s going to be a star.”

In other news, Kaizer Chiefs were closing in on the signatures of TWO rising stars this week but rivals Orlando Pirates managed to pull off an incredible heist!

ABC Motsepe League stars Gomolemo Khuto and Lucky Bule were on trial at the Glamour Boys last week with the hope of securing a permanent move to the club.

After a three-day trial, the duo from the North West were expected to join the Amakhosi but a dramatic turn of events unfolded.

Orlando Pirates swiftly moved to offer the Orbit College duo bumper deals at the Mayfair club, beating Kaizer Chiefs to it!

The duo put pen-to-paper and signed for the Buccaneers, with the Amakhosi left behind as the biggest losers!

Orlando Pirates stun their rivals by snatching star DUO!

“Yes, it is true, the boys trained with the Kaizer Chiefs reserve team for three days last week.” Orbit College head coach Pogiso Makhoye told SABC Sport.

“They were impressed with them but unfortunately they were slow to react and Orlando Pirates came back to finalize the deal.

“You will recall that Pirates spotted the boys first during the Pirates Cup, which was held in Johannesburg.

“But according to them, they were waiting for us to complete the ABC Motsepe play-offs.

“During that period, Kaizer Chiefs also came into the picture and that’s how the boys ended up in Naturena for assessment.

“But we are now happy to have concluded with Pirates, who have also compensated us appropriately for developing the boys.”
