Chivaviro has been in excellent form for Gallants of late, where he has starred for the club in both the DStv Premiership, as well as their impressive run in the CAF Confederation Cup, where they find themselves as unlikely quarterfinalists. In the league the Zimbabwean marksman has also hit a purple patch, which has attracted the likes of Pirates and Chiefs to him.

Now just last week, The South African News reported that Pirates had been dealt a big blow in their interest for the player, with reports that he may have already had an agreement on paper with Richards Bay FC. That now, seems to not be the case. However, according to the players agent, the Buccaneers, Chiefs and Richards Bay could be dealt a fresh blow in the chase for Chivaviro.

The most encouraging part of that statement for Pirates, Chiefs and Richards Bay is that, nothing is cast in stone, and should a move abroad not materialise, they could all be given the opportunity to pounce on Chivaviro.
