2018 Elimination Chamber: Thes

WWE Wrestling is going to deliver some serious entertainment this weekend when the Elimination Chamber takes place.

This year is different to before and you can be sure that things are going to get pretty serious.

With seven contestants all vying for a spot at Wrestlemania, anything can happen. Very little is certain at this stage and it is impossible to predict.

When is the Elimination Chamber and what’s different about it?

It takes place on Sunday 25 February (Monday at 3:00 in South Africa). Seven men instead of the usual six will take part.

Who will be in the Elimination Chamber?

John Cena, Elias, The Miz, Braun Strowman, Finn Balor, Seth Rollins, and Roman Reigns.

Only Cena and Miz have experience competing in the harrowing structure with the former having participated six times and the latter twice.

But the contest is always unpredictable and full of drama. It’s almost fair to say that experience doesn’t really matter.

What’s the running order?

Three Superstars – including The Miz, who is the first entrant – will start the bout while the remaining four are enclosed in pods. It hasn’t been revealed yet who will enter in what order, but as soon as we know,  we’ll update the info.

Every five minutes a pod will open and a SuperStar will enter the mix. The last man standing after everyone has been eliminated wins. A Superstar can be eliminated at any time via pinfall or submission.

What’s all this for?

It’s a battle for a chance to face Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 34 for the prestigious Universal Championship in April.
