Max Verstappen will start in sixth position ahead of Sunday’s Belgian Grand Prix.

The 25-year-old Dutch driver got the pole on Friday during qualifying, but a five-place grid penalty sees him drop down the order with Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc set to start P1.

Since his ‘horror show’ at the Monaco GP, the Mexican driver has failed to challenge the current reigning chapions. He failed to make Q3 in six of the eleven qualifying sessions which led many to believe that his time at Red Bull might be coming to an end.

Verstappen on the other hand, has been flawless, dominating the season thus far.

Even though he starts in sixth on Sunday, chances are that he might be leading the race ahead of his teammate and the Monegasque Charles Leclerc.
