According to EFF spokesperson in the Cape Metro, Andiswa Madikazi, the victim allegedly went to the Brackenfell police station to open a case of assault against her boyfriend and she received no attention or assistance.

She reportedly went back to her boyfriend but found the situation was unbearable and called the police.

The suspect is the officer who responded and he allegedly offered to take the victim to a safe place.

“Instead of driving to a safe location the officer drove to a different location where he raped her and then threatened to kill her if she goes public about it or reports him,” said Madikazi.
