We’re two episodes into Game of Thrones’ Season 7 and things are definitely heating up.

In the latest teaser-trailer for episode three called, “The Queen’s Justice”, we can see two major characters finally meeting up and it looks absolutely epic!

We know from the previous episode Jon Snow is on his way to Dragonstone to meet the Queen of Dragons herself in order to hopefully form some sort of an alliance. Winter is here and White Walkers and the army of the dead are on their way. As it seems, the people of Westeros are in need of dragon-glass if they want to defeat the White Walkers, eventually. It just so happens Dany is sitting on a pile of dragonglass…

Game of Thrones Season 7 Episode 2 recap:

In episode two of the HBO-hit series, titled “Stormborn” we saw Daenerys Stormborn make herself ‘at home’ at Dragonstone. Together she and Tyrion revealed how they are going to get Dany on the Iron Throne as ‘the rightful ruler of Westeros’. One of the most interesting conversations Dany possibly had was with Varys. She outright questioned his loyalty saying: “If you ever betray me, I’ll burn you alive.” He responded calmly, at which she made him promise to always tell her like it is.

Arya met up with some old friends. First she met, ‘Hot pie’ who told her that Jon Snow is alive and well at Winterfell. This ultimately makes her change her course to go to him instead of going to King’s Landing to kill Cersei. She also met up with her dire-wolf, Nymeria – a long-awaited reunion indeed…the last time we saw Nymeria was in Season 1 when Arya sent her away before she was killed for attacking Cersei’s beloved son, Joffrey.

In the scene, Arya asked to Nymeria to join her on her way to Winterfell, but ultimately came to terms with her wildness when the wolf simply turned around and left. “That’s not you”, said Arya, recognizing in her wolf the same spirit she has. Fans will remember Arya saying the same thing to her father in season 1, when he showed her a painting he’d drawn of her as a lady married to a lord. “That’s not me.”

A scene that was really hard to watch, was Sam Tarly’s attempt to cure Jorah Mormont from his horrible predicament, aka Greyscale. Sam takes action after he finds out Jorah only has about six months to live. Hopefully he will meet with ‘his Khaleesi’ again, though.

The last scene that was absolutely riveting was the moment Euron Greyjoy surprised his niece and nephew, Yara and Theon, who were travelling with the Sand Snakes and Ellaria Sand to raise the armies of Dorne.

This attack showcased the first of possibly more brutal deaths and fighting scenes of the season. With first blood drawn, Euron took Yara (with no help from Theon btw!!), Ellaria Sand and one of her daughters prisoner as a possible gift for Cersei. He did promise her a gift in episode 1 of season 7 after all…
