South African questions

Watch: South Africans hilariously mess up these basic questions [video]

This Cape Town comedian is back and this time with even more South Africans who brilliantly mess up some easy questions.

South African questions

Cape Town comedian and content creator Devdondidit is back with another episode of his ever-popular “Questions” series. You know, the one where he asks random South Africans to answer some “basic” questions and the answers always end up being hilarious? Well, episode 8 is here and the festive madness clearly had South Africans even more confused.

“Complete the song for me. Deck the halls with….?”

“Uhhh? Balls of jolly?”

With the 8th episode being recorded around peak Christmas time, Cavendish Square mall in Cape Town was absolutely packed full of South Africans of all kinds happy to fall victim to Dev’s trick “easy” questions.

With other question like “Spell Mistletoe” and ” What gifts did the three wise men give father Christmas?”, these guys had no idea just how badly the internet would be judging them.

Dev jokingly even said maybe it’s time for a nationwide tour.

“Can you believe it’ s the 8th episode of Questions South Africa. This episode takes places at the trendy and stylish Cavendish Shopping Centre. (I think I need to do a country tour this year)”

Devdondidit is one of the funniest comedians in the country, let alone the Cape. Dev is known for his hit viral videos like “Keeping Up with the Kaapdashians” and his Gupta parody of Ed Sheeran’s ‘Shape of You”.

Before all of that though, Dev used to hit the streets of Cape Town to ask some general knowledge questions to everyday South Africans. He recently released part 5 of this “questions” series and it seems that us South Africans may be getting dumber…

The good news that comes out of all of this, is that it makes for some absolutely brilliant entertainment.
