The last few days have seen South Africans across the country feeling the cold. With a cold front taking over from Sunday, we can all prepare to sadly get even colder. If you’re cold while reading this, just remember that Sutherland is expected to experience -9°C on Monday.

From Monday the cold front is expected to move to the eastern parts of the country, although, if you’re in the West you might not know the difference as temperatures will still be all kinds of cold.

Things got so cold in the Western Cape this past weekend, like really cold. Snow was spotted falling atop table mountain on Sunday. Snow up there only happens once or twice during most Cape winters, it’s reserved for the coldest of cold.

Justin Hawthrone also managed to capture a video of the snow falling on Sunday. Simply put, it’s a beautiful sight. Check it out for yourself below.
