The former Minister of Transport made the claim while speaking to eNCA’s JJ Tabane on Power to Truth. According to Mbalula, the government has a grasp on the electricity crisis and load shedding will be a thing of the past by the end of December 2023. The way he explained it, this fantastical claim was based on the information and work he had seen the government and ministers do to tackle the crisis.
