Limpopo police have launched a manhunt after the burnt bodies of an elderly business women and her nephew were discovered on Saturday. The brutal attack occurred a hotel near the small town of Ohrigstad. Police spokesperson Malesela Ledwaba says according to eyewitnesses a man wearing a balaclava was seen fleeing the area. Last month Police Minister Bheki Cele released the country’s latest crime stats for the months of January 2023 to March 2023. The stats revealed an increase in murders within the same period last year with 6 289 murders occurring in the first three months of this year.
