Louisa Wynand caused quite a stir earlier this year when she accused the leader of the ANC in the Western Cape, Marius Fransman, of sexual harassment.

Despite the NPA dropping charges against Fransman, Wynand refuses to relent and says that she is taking him on as a person, not a politician.

“This happened to me. My human rights have been violated by that human. It didn’t matter what his profession is – I would still have reported him for what he’s done,” she told News24.

“This is not a political issue. Who would put themselves through something like this … for fun?”

Wynand accused Fransman of sexual harassment in January for an alleged incident which occurred while they travelled to the North West for the ANC’s birthday celebrations in Rustenburg. The National Prosecuting Authority decided to drop the charges due to insufficient evidence.
