Eight suspected cash-in-transit robbers were shot dead by members of the South African Police Service (SAWS) in Sebokeng, Gauteng, on Thursday, 6 April. National SAPS spokesperson Brigadier Athlenda Mathe told The South African four others were wounded in the fatal shootout.
