Voice of Tembisa FM on Facebook shared a statement from Warrant Officer Ferreira from Norkem Police, who confirmed that a 50-year-old actor allegedly shot his partner to death in Norkem Park on Thursday, 13 April. The Norkem Police added that the 50-year-old actor was taken to Tembiso hospital after he tried to commit suicide by drinking sleeping pills. Though it is unclear who the actor is, social media users have speculated that he’s from the Afrikaans soapie 7de Laan.
