It’s not the first time BBC news reader, Simon McCoy was “overcome with emotion” over royal baby news….
BBC news reader Simon McCoy has become famous for his use of sarcasm and dry humor when it comes to certain news stories. Kate Middleton and Prince William’s unborn child’s due date are incidentally apart of that.
As of yesterday, Kensington Palace announced The Duchess’ due date for Royal Baby number three:

Simon preceded to read the breaking news live on air and has since gone viral for the way he responded:
He said: “Now, baring in mind that they announced that she was pregnant back in September and it was thought that she was around two or three months pregnant, I’m not sure how much news this really is. But anyway, it’s April so clear your diaries, get the time booked off ’cause that’s what I’m doing.”

He also made headlines with his deeply honest royal baby coverage prior to the birth of the Duke and Duchess’s first child, Prince George.
Booking your holidays, you don't want to be stuck outside the hospital for days like last time!??

Others were not so pleased though:
Bit disrespectful. You're there to read the news, not give your personal comment on it ?
