Call off the search: the existence of the “G-spot” is more complicated than we ever thought

Let’s just say: it’s complicated.

Call off the search: the exist

“With your palm facing up, insert two fingers – about two inches into the vagina – and make a ‘come hither’ curling motion on the walnut-sized, probably roughish, patch you find there….”

That’s the copy and paste description that’s beenused time and time again to help hapless lovers find the mythical g-spot.

But, as an article in Women24 notes, it’s actually way more complex than that.

Dr Emmanuele Jannini, professor of endocrinology and sexology in Italy, began researching the “G-spot” back in 2014.

Because, guess what? The g-spot isn’t a “sexual organ” that’s found in all women. And many researchers believe that it’s not even a thing at all. But this doc wasn’t going to ignore the lived experiences of women.

W24 notes: “Using ultrasound, he and his team paid close attention to the physiological changes that occurred during all forms of penetration.

“What they discovered was that on arousal, when the clitoral structure and urethral sponge engorge, penetration displaces these organs, pushing them up against each other and the vagina.

“And for some women, the direct stimulation of the urethra in this “pushing against” is deeply pleasurable.”

Read that again.

Some women will experience intense pleasure. But not all. And that’s hardly a surprise. Because, hey, everyone is different and everyone responds differently to different things.

According to the W24, it gets even more complicated since how you experience pleasure and how you respond to certain things ca even change from day-to-day.

This little video also explains things a little bit better.

The most important lesson from all of this? Listen to your partner, listen to your body and don’t be afraid to explore each other and take your time when you’re having sexytime.
