They have created two images of Cape Town to date, this one (above) of the Cape Town city centre from above the Media 24 building, and one from Devil’s Peak captured in 2013 which is 600,000 pixels wide.

If this picture from Devil’s Peak were to be printed out, it would cover five rugby fields.

There are plans underway for a 1 million pixels wide photo from Lion’s Head, which would make it the biggest picture in history.

The images allow for you to zoom and visit the city of Cape Town in intricate detail, as well as rotate an entire 360º.

The guys behind Fancam are South African and have produced over three hundred Fancams for sport and musical events.

In 2010 they broke the record for the biggest crowd image of 90,000 people at the FNB Stadium in Soweto.
