Big Bounce Australia is the world’s largest jumping castle and it has the Guinness World Records stamp of approval.

It arrived on the island continent towards the end of 2019 after touring the United States but unfortunately due to COVID-19, Big Bounce Australia had to close up shop. It is making a return just in time for an Australian summer!

WHAT IS BIG BOUNCE AUSTRALIA?

Its website notes that Big Bounce Australia has a 300-metre long inflatable obstacle course, slides, ball pits, a giant maze and climbing walls. What’s better than bouncing around on the world’s largest jumping castle than listening to the hottest tunes while enjoying it?

A Big Bounce Australia’s DJ is sure to get the party started with some music. And when you hear your stomach grumbling after bouncing too much, you can head over to one of the food trucks for a quick bite.

It is open to all ages and it just might be a great stress reliever for adults after a taxing year.

WHERE IT ALL STARTED

It all started when co-founders Cameron Craig and Grahame Ferguson came up with the idea while producing a music festival.

Speaking to Today they said: “There was a children’s play area on the side, and it had your usual bounce house. When the sun started to set and the children went to bed, we had a few beers and played on it.”

Their original idea, Big Bounce America had a basketball court and a nightclub but unfortunately, it was left out of Big Bounce Australia.

ALL THE BOUNCY DEETS

Besides the 300-metre obstacle course, ball pits, mazes and climbing walls there is also another attraction called Air Space that is an “out of this world” space-themed “wonderland” filled with friendly aliens, spaceships and more.

The Big Bounce Australia tour will kick off in Perth on 26 November. Dates for Sydney, Wollongong, Newcastle, Melbourne and Adelaide, Canberra and Geelong are yet to be announced.

Tickets are available from their website. There are kids sessions, adults sessions and family sessions for some much-needed family fun.
