PlayStation 4 Days of Sale officially launched – here’s what you can get

E3 is upon us and Sony have delivered big saving on software and hardware to add to the excitement of the upcoming wave of gaming related news.

The Days of Play sale will run from 7 June until 17 June and will give us a chance to pick up deals on consoles, hardware and some of the best games available on the PS4 right now.

The discounts on games will be available online and from physical retailers like Makro, Dion Wired, Takealot, Raru, Loot and BT games. If you need a quick refresher about all things PSN, read this nifty guide.

In addition to the savings, Sony have a limited edition Days of Play 1TB Playstation 4 console available which features beautifully embossed silver circle square triangle and ‘x’ with the console itself finished in black.

The games available are online from the Playstation Store and there are currently 146 deals – this includes multiple versions of the same game and DLC – with up to 60% off titles.

Games

The highlights are definitely Marvel’s Spiderman which you can pick up for R469 instead of it’s normal price of R1 069 – a saving of 56% The Deluxe Edition is also available for R629, and normally sells for R1 199.

Red Dead Redemption 2, possibly the best game out at the moment, can be picked up for only R639.36 – a 36% saving on it’s normal price of R999. The Special Edition and Limited Edition are also available for R724.42 and R899.40 respectively.

Other notable mentions are God of War Digital Deluxe Edition for R415.44 down from R1 069, Mortal Kombat 11 for R801.75 down from R1 069 and Shadow of the Tomb Raider for R427.60 down from R1 069.

If you were suffering from FOMO with the Sims 4 being available free to play on Origin, you can pick it up on PS4 for R249; and save 60% on the normal price and quite a few of the DLC packs are discounted too.

Consoles

As for hardware, the Limited Edition Days of Play 1TB console will be retailing for R5 799.

If you’ve been wanting to see what all the fuss about VR is, you can pick up the Playstation VR v2 plus camera and VR Worlds for just R3 999.

Bundles

The Playstation Pro is bundled with Fallout 76 and is selling for R6 799. Rounding out the Console savings are the Playstation Classic and Playstation 4 Slim 500GB bundled with Horizon Zero Dawn, Gran Turismo Sport, and Unchartered for R499 and R4 999 respectively.

DualShock 4 v2 controllers are also available for R799 in Jet Black, Silver, and Alpine.
